Educational curricula
These materials are designed for schoolteachers, park rangers, and environmental educators
everywhere. All lesson plans are geared for upper elementary school students, but can be
adjusted to match any grade level. In addition, we have one field trip lesson for high
school students. The lessons emphasize science and social studies, and are ideal for
learning across the disciplines. If you are not in the NYC area, note that you can adapt
many lessons to your region of the world.
Within each zipped folder, you’ll find a lesson plan, a page of background information that provides more information about the research behind each lesson plan, and a folder containing activity materials.
